Luxury Among the Roots
Jubail Island is Abu Dhabi’s sanctuary. 4,000 hectares of mangroves and estuaries. The development plan is “low density, high value.” For the contractor, this means working in a zone where Environmental Protection is the #1, #2, and #3 priority.
- Constraint: No damage to existing trees.
- Constraint: No alteration of tidal flows.
- Constraint: No chemical leaching.
The 100% Precast Solution
The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) is watching. Pouring concrete foundations for temporary fences or walkways is risky. Spills happen. Washout water kills fish.
By using precast Hoarding Blocks and Light Footings, you eliminate the need for concrete mixers on site.
- Arrive: Truck delivers cured blocks.
- Place: Crane drops block on the sand.
- Finished: No curing, no formwork, no washout.
This “Dry Construction” method is the only safe way to build in a wetland.
Tidal Logistics
The water level changes every 6 hours. A barrier placed at low tide might be underwater at high tide. Standard steel fencing will rust immediately. Plastic barriers will float away. You need Massive, Marine-Grade Concrete.
Our blocks are heavy enough to stay put when the tide rises (if placed in the intertidal zone) and are cast with sulphate-resistant cement to withstand the daily salt bath.
The Boardwalk Infrastructure
Jubail Island features kilometers of boardwalks. Supporting these walkways during construction requires temporary paths for workers. You cannot trample the mudflats. We supply Precast Stepping Slabs. These large-format slabs distribute the weight of workers and wheelbarrows, preventing them from sinking into the silt and destroying the crab burrows and root systems below.
| Environmental Risk | Construction Method | The Precast Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Chemical Leaching | In-situ Casting | Cured Precast Blocks |
| Soil Compaction | Heavy Machinery | Lightweight Modular Slabs |
| Tidal Displacement | Plastic Barriers | Heavy Concrete Anchors |
| Root Damage | Excavation | Surface-Mount Foundations |
Visual Silence
The buyers on Jubail Island are paying for tranquility. They don’t want to see a neon orange construction fence. They want the site to blend in.
We offer Camouflage Precast. We can cast barriers in earth tones (beige/sand) or paint them to match the environment. The hoarding panels can be printed with mangrove imagery, making the construction site disappear into the landscape.
The Zero-Trace Promise
When the villa is finished, the temporary works must go. If you poured concrete piles, you have to jackhammer them out—creating noise and dust. With our surface-mounted precast, you simply lift the block and take it away. Zero trace left behind. The ground returns to its natural state immediately.
Protecting the Green Lung
Jubail Island is the lungs of Abu Dhabi. Building here is a privilege, not a right. If your construction methods kill the mangroves, you aren’t just losing a contract; you are destroying a national asset.
Use inert, stable, removable precast. Build with respect.
